About me

Art as the Language of the Heart

I was born on October 1, 1980, in Hebei, China, and have been living in Germany since 2012. My artistic journey began in 2002 when I successfully completed my studies in art education at the Hebei Normal University for Nationalities. Just a year later, in 2003, I started working as an art educator. In 2010, I continued my academic training at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, where I specialized in traditional Chinese painting.

Moving to Germany in 2012 opened up new artistic horizons for me. Here, I began to explore the connection between Eastern and Western art as well as the concept of art therapy more deeply. This fusion of different cultural influences continues to shape my work to this day.

In my paintings, I combine the palette knife technique of the German painter Gerhard Richter with traditional Chinese ink painting. Driven by a deep inner spiritual force, I create abstract works that are infused with vitality and energy. In my paintings, Western color techniques and approaches are united with the Eastern spirit of calligraphy — especially in my landscape depictions, which reflect my hometown of Hebei.

With over 20 years of intensive engagement with both Chinese and Western art, I have developed a unique artistic expression that is especially recognized in Europe. My works reflect the tension of life and the eternal hope — they are lively, moving, and unfold a strong emotional attraction. I want my art to reduce stress, heal the mind, and fill the viewer with hope and lasting impressions.

As a passionate art lover, I regularly visit art galleries in various countries to continually develop myself and discover new creative inspirations. I am particularly fascinated by the process of painting itself: in the studio, there is only the interaction between my emotions and the canvas — a deep connection between personal and cosmic energy. In these moments, time seems to stand still, and I feel at one with the universe.

I am convinced that outstanding artists and significant works are rare. I believe that only artists who have experienced the challenges of life truly understand the artistic soul — a dimension that goes far beyond art itself. My works are created free from commercial or personal preferences — they are an expression of the connection between life energy and cosmic power.

My goal is to create something meaningful in my life, to constantly push my own boundaries, and to express deeper philosophical thoughts through my paintings.
