Created in 2024, When the World Turns Gentle originates from several unforgettable experiences during the artist’s life in Germany. Fleeting pink skies that appeared only for a few moments gradually became lasting memories and eventually found their expression in this painting.
One memory comes from a New Year’s Eve evening. Just before darkness fell, the sky unexpectedly turned a luminous shade of pink. Standing beside the man who would later become her husband, the artist experienced a profound sense of joy, hope, and wonder. The sky itself became more memorable than the fireworks that followed.
Another memory emerged during a walk through a valley. Soft pink light spread across the distant hills, bathing the landscape in an atmosphere of stillness and beauty. In that moment, she wished time could stop. What moved her was not only the landscape, but a deep gratitude for life itself.
